Aviation for Good funds delivery partner organisations that use light aircraft to reach isolated communities with life-saving medical assistance, disaster relief and essential supplies. Our grants support work that advances health, wellbeing and the relief of poverty in places that are difficult to reach by other means.

Funding
Who we fund

We fund established organisations with charitable purposes that use light aircraft to reach isolated communities in the countries and regions covered by our grant-making policy. This may include organisations with different legal structures where required by local aviation or regulatory rules, provided the work being funded is charitable and aligned with our mission. We support projects that save lives, relieve poverty and improve access to healthcare, education, disaster relief and essential services.

Apply for a Grant

Applying for a grant starts with a simple conversation. If your organisation uses light aircraft to reach communities that are otherwise cut off, and your work saves lives, relieves poverty or improves access to healthcare and education, we would love to hear from you.

The first step is to read our Grant Making Policy and check that your organisation meets the eligibility requirements. Then email us to confirm, and if everything lines up we will invite you to become an Aviation for Good delivery partner and submit your application. As a new and growing charity, we raise funds for each approved project, so getting in touch early helps us plan the support we can offer.

3
Apply to become a partner and submit your grant application
If your organisation appears eligible, we will invite you to apply to become an Aviation for Good partner. This may be a separate or combined process, depending on the preference of the applicant and the nature of the project.
4
Trustee review and approval
Applications are reviewed by the Aviation for Good Trustees.

If approved, we will agree the partnership arrangements and prepare the relevant Partnership and Grant Agreement.
5
Fundraising begins
As a new charity, Aviation for Good is still building its grant fund.

Once a partner and grant application have been approved, we will usually begin raising funds for that specific project.
6
Reporting and impact
Partners will be asked to provide agreed updates on how the grant is used and the impact it has made.

These reports help us demonstrate the difference aviation can make and support future fundraising.
